What We Are Doing
Monthly Meetings
​
We have informative and engaging meetings every month on the 4th Saturday at 10:00 AM, unless there is a holiday or a holiday weekend. In those cases, we meet on the 3rd Saturday. We invite speakers to some of our meetings to educate us about veteran issues, American Legion programs, well-being, etc. We are currently meeting at the Mt. Healthy Public Library, 7700 Hamilton Ave. Cincinnati, OH 45321..

ON BEHALF OF VETERANS
Members made and delivered a "patriotic" lap quilt to a Post member who now resides in a nursing facility. The Post sponsored a delegate to Buckeye Girls State 2021. During Warrior Weekend to Remember 2021 (August 4-8), the Post will adopt a Purple Heart recipient or a Gold Star family and send notes, cards, a care package, and prayers. To support a project by UC Blue Ash Dental Hygiene Department, dental waste (manual toothbrushes, empty toothpaste tubes, dental floss containers, and packaging) will be collected. We are resuming collection of the regular-size plastic "Kroger"-type bags. These will be passed on to someone who will crochet them into mats for the homeless.

PARADES AND SUMMER ACTIVITIES
We are often asked to participate in community parades in the Tri-State. Recently we have enjoyed the North College Hill Memorial Day Parade, Bellevue-Dayton Memorial Day Parade, and Veterans Day Committee of Hamilton County Veterans Day Parade in Cheviot.
